【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61883specifiesaprotocolforthetransportofuncompressedorcompressedvideodatainthe4:2:2formatofrecommendationITU-RBT.601(includingcompatibleextensionstothisformatforthehigherandlowerresolutionsofothercommonlyusedvideoresolutions)overhighperformanceserialbus,asspecifiedbyIEEEStd1394-1995asamendedbyIEEEStd1394a-2000andIEEEStd1394b-2002(collectivelyIEEE1394).ThedataformatsfortheencapsulationofvideodataarecompatiblewiththosespecifiedbyIEC61883-1.Associatedaudiodata,ifany,shouldbeformattedasspecifiedbyIEC61883-6.TherearemanycommonlyusedvideoformatsunsupportedbyIEC61883,suchasMPEG-4,WindowsMediaFormat(WMF)andtheformatusedbyautomotivenavigationapplications.Supportforallormostoftheseformatsinrenderingdeviceswouldrequireimplementationofmultiplevideocodecs.ThisisanundueburdenthatmaybeavoidedifthesourcedeviceconvertstoITU-RBT.6014:2:2formatand,ifnecessary,compressesthedatawithacodecsupportedbyalldestinationdevices.Anadditionaladvantageisthaton-screendisplay(OSD)informationmaybemixedwithvideodatapriortotransmissiontotherenderingdevice.BecauseITU-RBT.6014:2:2formatiswidelyusedinternallyincontemporaryAVequipment,thisspecificationpermitsstraight-forwardintegrationofIEEE1394intothesedevicesandenablesmarketswhoseusagescenariosincludesinglevideosourcestransmittingtooneormorevideodisplays,suchas:-consumerelectronicSTBorDVDvideorenderedbymultipledisplaysinthehome;-automotivenavigationandentertainment;and-aeronauticalin-flightentertainment.Forthesakeofinteroperabilityandboundedimplementationcomplexity,itisessentialthatthespecificationprovidethefollowing:-a1394TAcontrolledlistofcompressioncodecs;and-ataminimum,areferencetoonevideocompressioncodec.
