【摘要】:Thistestmethodshouldbeusedtoevaluateseveralperformancequalitiesofmultistrikefilmribbonsonacomparativebasis.Thistestmethodissuitableforcomparativeserviceevaluation,research,anddevelopment.Itmayalsobeusedformanufacturingcontrolbutonlyonalimitedbasis,duetotimespanrequiredforsomeoftheprocedures.Thisprocedureconsistsofseveralteststhatareusedtoevaluatedifferentcharacteristicsofmultistrikeribbons.Theusercanchooseanyoneofthese,aseriesoftests,oralltestsdependingonhisneedsandinterests.1.1Thistestmethodcoversinformationandtechniquesforevaluatingseveralperformancequalitiesofmultistrikefilmtypewriter/printerribbonsonacomparativebasisforgeneralofficeuse.Itisnotintendedforspecializedapplicationssuchasopticalcharacterrecognition.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeNote10foraspecificcautionarystatement.
